The Opportunity

An opportunity currently exists in our Surrey Central office for a Junior Infrastructure Planning Engineer / Technologist to join our Infrastructure Planning Group.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform urban water, sanitary and drainage system modelling, including data management, model setup and calibration, and system assessment.
• Support the development of Infrastructure servicing plans for subdivisions, neighborhood and city-wide areas.
• Perform hydrological and hydraulic modelling and support the development of Water and Sewer Master Plans and Integrated Stormwater Management Plans
• Develop rainwater source control LID concepts and assist in LID designs.
• Provide technical analysis in support of Civil engineering design associated with municipal water, sanitary sewer, drainage conveyance works and hydraulic structures.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, implementation plans and operation and maintenance manuals.
• Write technical memorandums and reports.

Additional responsibilities will include client communication and management; assistance with proposal preparation; coordination with subconsultants, regulatory agencies, project planning, budgeting, scheduling and other project management tasks.

Skills & Qualifications

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, skillsets, and qualifications.
