Transit Driver - Part Time

PWTransit is currently seeking a part-time Transit Driver to join our team in Leduc. We offer competitive wages, ongoing training and development and a family-oriented team environment.

Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers on a daily basis and must be committed to providing superior customer service. Commitment, patience, maturity, and initiative are all required qualities.

Can receive between 15-20 hours per week. Regular weekend availability (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) required. Additional hours available for vacation and sick coverage. Leduc residents are preferred.

Position Requirements :

• Minimum class 4 driver's license required; class 2Q considered an asset
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Driver's abstract with no more than 3 demerit points
• Willingness to undergo drug and alcohol screening
• Clear criminal record
• Must be organized, punctual and reliable
• Possess excellent driving skills and habits
• Ability to read maps and navigate
• Ability to communicate effectively
• A good knowledge of the local area is a definite asset
• Willing to work shifts, including split shifts, weekends and statutory holidays as necessary (transit service may operate 7 days per week, 21 hours per day)
