Lodging Maintenance Technician

OurFort McMurray ABlocation is currently looking for aLodging Maintenance Technicianto join the team. Our Lodging Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing a wide array of skilled trades labor facility maintenance and general labor responsibilities in support of a variety of lodging and related facilities equipment and grounds.

This position is camp work on a 20/10 rotation. Candidate must stay in camp.

• Perform various tasks duties and responsibilities to maintain and repair various facility systems structures equipment and grounds.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment systems facilities and properties covered by the Company.
• Follow prescribed policies practices standards and procedures in maintaining and repairing Company property and equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and prescribed practices including Company and governmental regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and process documentation such as work orders purchase invoices/orders process and methods sheets instructions and maintenance plans.
• Other Duties as Assigned

• Knowledge of trades such as plumbing heating air conditioning and ventilation and carpentry.
• Ability to read write and perform rudimentary calculations in basic mathematics.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs throughout a shift
• Safety training courses such as H2S Alive First Aid/CPR and Confined Space is preferred.
• Must possess a valid non GDL drivers license and have a clean driving record.
• Must be able to work independently and maintain schedules and timetables for work completion and maintenance programs.
• Must be able to work 20 days at a time 20/10 shift 10-hour days.
• Must meet the Company health and legal standards established for a drug-free environment
