The annual pay range for a full time teacher is $63,367 to $111,488, with placement on the range based on experience and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
School District #8 (Kootenay Lake) has a vacancy for a 0.2 FTE Term Kindergarten Teacher at Blewett Elementary School in Nelson B.C.
The awarded applicant will have recent demonstrated successful experience working in a multi-graded setting, will be able to work closely with teachers, and will be knowledgeable and able to work appropriately with students who may have diverse learning and behavior needs.
The awarded applicant will be innovative, creative, and demonstrate understanding of B.C’s redesigned curriculum, School District 8’s Student Expectations and Strategic Plan. They will be a person who is continually striving to improve pedagogy in a changing educational environment.
