We lead integrated design incorporating sustainability, environmental engineering, wind engineering, microclimate, ventilation, noise, acoustics, and vibration. The Motioneering team, in RWDI’s Guelph office, is currently accepting applications from 4th-year students for a Mechanical Engineering co-op position for May to December 2026 .

Key Responsibilities

You will be provided with an opportunity to provide technical support for engineering projects, including :

• Project planning / co-ordination : work with the engineering staff to plan and coordinate technical aspects of the design and implementation of damping systems for skyscrapers and bridges
• 3D solid modeling : create new and work with existing 3D models
• 2D drawings : produce drawings that clearly communicate design intent for preliminary and detailed designs
• Design analysis : Assist with design and strength of materials calculations, modifications, component sourcing, and documentation of engineering results
• Assist with the development and testing of damping systems.
• Documentation : Assist with the preparation of proposals, marketing materials, and technical papers

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
