As the province’s largest energy provider with more than 100 years of knowledge and experience, we proudly deliver renewable energy, natural gas, electricity and propane to 1.3 million customers.

We're actively seeking new talent to join our mission of delivering a stronger energy future in B.C. As one of BC's Top Employers with a diverse team of over 2,800 employees, we are committed to a safe and inclusive culture where each of us can connect, belong, and grow. Join us, and together, let's shape a brighter future for B.C.

Position Overview

You're a master of workflows, and you know how to guide clients through an effortless customer journey. You're at your best when you collaborate and can harness others' insights to produce tangible process improvements and remarkable results. To top it all off, you're passionate about sustainability and are eager to apply your skills to a job that takes meaningful action in promoting energy conservation.

This may be the perfect opportunity for you to support our Residential group by driving our conservation programs and nurturing customer-centric experiences. We want you to utilize your customer-centric vision to simplify the customer experience and leverage customer insights to improve the reach and satisfaction with our programs.

In this role, you will:

  • Build rapport with external and internal program partners and offer support as their industry expert.
  • Identify appropriate technologies and program guidelines for effective design to support enhanced program offerings and reduce energy consumption.
  • Lead the development and implementation of new or revised program offerings from concept to implementation.
  • Oversee the ongoing administration of residential energy efficiency and conservation programs.
  • Develop and implement strategy to further advance adoption of mechanical and building envelope design for residential new construction.
  • Establish program budgets and review expenditures and forecasts.
  • Assist and support regulatory filings and activities.

What it takes:

  • A diploma in marketing, communications or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three (3) years of recent, related experience in program development.
  • NRCan Energy Advisor would be an asset.
  • Strong data analytics and forecasting skills using advanced Excel, PowerBI and Microsoft Dynamics are preferred.
  • Demonstrated customer service approach and relationship building skills with program stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
  • Ability to work independently and with partners in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, financial control methods and techniques.
  • A 'get it done right' and 'can do' perspective that fosters strengthened relationships through every engagement.

In this role, you will have the option to participate in a flexible work program, enabling you to work from an approved flex location in British Columbia up to 85 days a year (equivalent to approximately two days a week), subject to business or operational needs.

Our engaging workplace offers a wide range of challenging opportunities, while being safe, inclusive, and diverse. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, while supporting life-long career development. We also encourage volunteerism and nourish the need to give back to your community.
