Forklift Operator

Adecco is currently hiring several full-time Forklift Operators to join our clients team in their processing facility in Vaughan, ON. You will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of materials and products within the facility, ensuring that all warehouse operations run smoothly.

Responsibilities :

Operate a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.

Load and unload trucks and containers with a forklift.

Ensure that all products are moved in a safe and timely manner.

Maintain accurate records of inventory moved and stored.

Conduct daily inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

Assist with inventory control, including stock rotation and shelf organization.

Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, such as picking, packing, and shipping orders.

Qualifications :

Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada

High school diploma or equivalent.

Valid forklift certification and 1+ years’ experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.

Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
