Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will support the effective day‑to‑day operation and continuous improvement of Baltic’s Salesforce environment. Working closely with the Technology and Systems Team Leader, this role focuses on system configuration, user support, reporting, documentation, and data quality.
You will act as a key operational contact for Salesforce across the business, helping teams use the platform effectively, follow consistent processes, and maintain high‑quality data. This role is well suited to someone with early Salesforce experience who is looking to grow their technical capability within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salesforce Platform Support & Configuration
- Support the configuration and maintenance of Salesforce objects, fields, Flows, validation rules, page layouts, and record types.
- Carry out routine administration tasks including user setup, permissions, profiles, and access management.
- Assist with testing and deploying system changes in line with established governance processes.
- Support Salesforce solutions that align with business processes across Sales, Delivery, Curriculum, and Employer Engagement.
2. Data Quality, Governance & Documentation
Support data quality initiatives including data imports, deduplication, cleansing, and maintaining standardised field formats.Maintain system documentation, process guides, and the data dictionary.Follow agreed change control and governance processes, ensuring updates are logged and documented.Assist with monitoring integrations between Salesforce and other systems, escalating issues where required.3. Internal Support, Training & Adoption
Act as a point of contact for Salesforce‑related queries and user support requests.Resolve user issues and tickets in a timely manner, escalating complex problems when necessary.Develop and maintain user guides, and training resources.Support the delivery of internal training sessions and workshops to improve Salesforce adoption and confidence.4. Reporting & Insights
Build, maintain, and update Salesforce reports and dashboards.Support teams with reporting requests and ensure data is structured correctly for analysis.Help maintain consistent reporting definitions and filters across the organisation.Provide accurate and timely data to support operational and performance reporting.5. Continuous Improvement & Systems Development
Log and triage Salesforce enhancement requests, supporting prioritisation discussions with senior stakeholders.Identify opportunities for small improvements, automation, or simplification.Support ongoing system improvements and initiatives under the guidance of the Technology and Systems Team Leader.Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and best practice, sharing relevant updates with the team.6. Stakeholder Support & Communication
Communicate system updates and changes clearly to users providing monthly round up updates.Work collaboratively with teams across Sales, Delivery, Curriculum, and Employer Engagement to understand system usage and challenges.Support projects by assisting with Salesforce configuration and ensuring workflows align with agreed processes.Promote good data habits and consistent system usage across the business.Essential Skills & Experience
Experience working with Salesforce in a systems, or CRM‑related role.Working knowledge of Salesforce configuration, Flows, and reporting.Strong attention to detail with a focus on data quality and consistency.Clear communication skills and confidence supporting non‑technical users.Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.A proactive approach to learning and problem solving.Desirable
Salesforce Administrator Certification.Experience working in a multi‑team or operational environment.A successful Salesforce Administrator team member will embody our core values :
