Licensed Plumber – Commercial/Industrial Service Team (ICI Sector)
Pay: CA$48.00 – CA$58.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We are actively seeking a Licensed Plumber (306A) to join a growing, reputable mechanical contractor with over 25 years of success delivering top-tier plumbing and HVAC solutions across the Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial (ICI) sectors. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality service and repairs on a wide range of commercial/industrial plumbing systems
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner on every job site
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and specifications with accuracy and efficiency
• Accurately estimate job costs including materials and labour
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls (e.g., clogged drains, frozen pipes, broken lines)
• Maintain organized records and daily activity logs
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, regulations, and company safety protocols
Requirements:
• Valid 306A Plumbing Journeyperson License (mandatory)
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a commercial, industrial, or institutional plumbing environment
• Valid Ontario G-Class Driver’s License
• Backflow Certification is an asset
• Experience in drain work is an asset
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and job documentation skills
• Working at Heights and other health/safety certifications are an asset
