Our client in Markham is seeking a proactive and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their Human Resources team. This is a contract opportunity with strong potential for extension or permanent hire. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process, developing talent pipelines, and supporting hiring managers in attracting and hiring top talent across the organization.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships, and has a strong understanding of recruitment strategies and candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for a variety of roles (corporate, technical, operational, etc.)
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other channels
Screen resumes, conduct phone interviews, and coordinate interview schedules
Maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
Prepare and post job advertisements and recruitment marketing materials
Support offer negotiation and onboarding processes
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
