This is a hybrid position, with one day per week in the office to support collaboration and team connection. Our office is conveniently located across from Guildford Mall in Surrey, BC.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and complex account reconciliations

• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger with accurate supporting documentation

• Support the month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis

• Assist with Deferred Revenue schedules and Revenue Recognition in line with US GAAP (ASC 606)

• Partner with Sales and Professional Services teams to ensure accurate and complete revenue reporting

• Help maintain US SOX compliance, including updating control and process documentation

• Contribute to system migrations and upgrades, including data validation, testing, and issue resolution

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a related role

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field

• Hands-on experience with Deferred Revenue schedules and Revenue Recognition

• Experience working with Salesforce

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Working knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS

• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset

Compensation & Benefits
The posted range for this position is between $73,250 CAD - $85,500 CAD which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient and experienced in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, training, current skills, certifications & education etc.
