Job descriptionNursing home / home for the aged Accompany patients on outdoor recreational activities Perform other duties related to patient care and comfort Supply and empty bed pans Take patients\' blood pressure, temperature and pulse Serve meal trays and feed patients Weigh, lift, turn and position patients Make beds and maintain patients\' rooms Bathe, dress and groom patients Transport patients in wheelchair or stretcher Collect specimens Administer first aid in emergency situations Provide personal care Provide companionship Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties Launder clothing and household linens Administer bedside and personal care Feed or assist in feeding Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Certificate First Aid Certificate CPR Certificate Nursing Aide Certificate Health Care Aide Certificate Personal Support Worker Certificate Criminal record check Immunization records Tuberculosis test Reference required Repetitive tasks Attention to detail Standing for extended periods Combination of sitting, standing, walking Health benefits Dental plan Health care plan As per collective agreement Group insurance benefits Other benefits
