CPR and First Aid is preferred/asset.An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.Skills RequiredMust possess a secondary school diplomaDemonstrated ability to anticipate and respond to student needs.Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to use tact, diplomacy and discretion in interactions within the school community.Ability to follow school policies and procedures.Duties and Responsibilities: (Any or all of the following)Provide general supervision and monitoring of students during lunch/nutrition breaks, yard duty and in the halls.Supervise students within the school setting, field trips and on the school yard, in school as assigned by the Principal.Convey information to students regarding acceptable behavior as per school procedures.Demonstrates good attendance and works in a healthy and safe manner.Perform other related duties as required.Effort Required (Physical & Mental):PhysicalWork requires light manual effort typical of a normal school environment.Short periods of standing while supervisingWorking Conditions:Typical school environment.
