About the Role
This is an in-person Business Development Manager role based out of our Bracebridge, ON office.
You will work closely with the Founder and CEO to expand SKADI’s presence in Canadian defence and government markets. This role is about relationships, credibility, and patience. Defence sales are not fast, but they are meaningful, strategic, and built on trust.
Because of the nature of our work and the relationships involved, regular in-office presence is essential. Travel to Ottawa, defence industry events, and customer sites will be part of the role.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys navigating complexity, building trust over time, and helping shape how a young company shows up in a highly regulated space.

This is an in-office role. While there is occasional flexibility, this is not a remote or hybrid-first position.
We operate with a high level of trust and partnership. You’ll have autonomy over how you approach your work, but you’ll never be working in isolation. Collaboration with leadership, engineering, and external partners is central to success here.
This is a startup. You’ll wear multiple hats, adapt as we grow, and help shape processes that don’t exist yet. That’s part of the appeal.
