THEROLE

We are currently seeking a Deli Clerk tojoin our Root Cellar team! As a Deli Clerk in our Chop Shop team you will beresponsible for ensuring the quality and presentation of our curated selectionof fresh and cured meats artisan cheeses and delicious house made salads . Our ideal candidate will have a passion for greatlocal food and providing exceptional customerservice. Previous experience in the food industry is considered an asset butwe are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!

• Serve customers from both the cured and fresh meat cases.
• Provide professional and attentive customer service.
• Accurately portion pack and label products for retail sale.
• Adhere to all food-handling and safety policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of in-house salads sandwiches and sauces.
• Gain product knowledge in order to advise customers on the best optionsto suit their needs.
• Uphold our standards for quality and freshness.
