Job description
Stieber Berlach LLP, a mid-size litigation firm located in downtown Toronto, has been a recognized leader in influential litigation matters since its founding in 1997. Routinely included in Canadian Lawyer’s list of Top Insurance Defence Law Boutiques in Canada, and recently selected by the Globe and Mail as one of Canada’s top law firms, its lawyers work closely with clients to achieve their litigation goals and deliver outstanding client service. The firm routinely advocates for clients at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada and courts of appeal in Ontario and other provinces. It also represents clients before administrative tribunals, regulatory discipline panels and review boards.
Stieber Berlach is currently seeking a litigation associate to join its precedent-setting practice. As a member of our team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of litigation including professional liability, professional discipline, medical malpractice, construction, directors’ and officers’ liability, property and casualty defence, and insurance coverage. This position offers an excellent opportunity for progression.
The ideal candidate will have three to five years of relevant experience gained from another leading law firm with a demonstrated ability to offer timely, professional, and cost-effective solutions that help clients flourish. Preference will be given to candidates with a demonstrated ability and desire to independently run sophisticated litigation matters. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in the quality of their work, is client-service driven, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment.
