Hall Mechanical is looking for a driven and experienced Mechanical Superintendent to take charge of multiple projects and lead our high-performing teams to success!

ABOUT THIS ROLE

The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating multiple mechanical construction projects across various sites. This role serves as a key liaison between the client, project managers, field supervisors, and office personnel, ensuring that work is planned, executed, and completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards.

The Mechanical Superintendent will be actively involved in project planning, execution, and closeout, and will lead initiatives that promote mentorship, team development, and continuous improvement.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a Mechanical Superintendent, you’ll report to the Field Operations Manager and oversee multiple projects, ensuring seamless coordination and execution. Your day will include:

  • Managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure success.
  • Leading and mentoring Site Supervisors, Foremen, and staff to achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborating with safety teams to enforce and enhance company safety policies.
  • Conducting project pre-planning and reviewing designs for cost-effectiveness and compliance.
  • Addressing job and schedule delays proactively to minimize losses.
  • Overseeing quality control and assurance to maintain Hall’s reputation for excellence.
  • Representing Hall Mechanical at site meetings and fostering positive relationships with all stakeholders.


WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in mechanical construction or a related field.
  • Proven track record in managing multiple large-scale projects and teams.
  • Strong understanding of plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems, as well as building codes and safety regulations.
  • Journeyman or Red Seal certification in a mechanical trade (e.g., plumbing, gas fitting); PMP or P.Eng considered an asset.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and processes, including RFIs, change orders, and Site Docs.
