Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

Tasks

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heavy trucks.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Work on diesel engines, transmissions, air brake systems, and hydraulic components.
• Carry out mechanical inspections and recommend the required repairs.
• Perform road tests to validate the quality of completed repairs.
• Collaborate with technical advisors and fleet managers to ensure excellent customer service.
• Ensure vehicles comply with current safety standards.
• Perform any other related duties as required.

Job requirements

• Experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Excellent knowledge of diesel engines and pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to efficiently diagnose mechanical and electronic failures.
• CPA Montréal competency card.
