Position Overview:
The role of the Network Reliability Specialist is to ensure the stability and integrity of all aspects that comprise the Squarepoint global trading network, which includes the regional data centers, regional offices, and various cloud service providers. These aspects include and are not limited to the delivery and support of various projects involving data, voice, video, network security, storage area networks, wireless networks, network monitoring, and capacity management.
The Network Reliability Specialist will oversee and participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, optimization, and documentation of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This includes managing multiple projects and configuring/optimizing network services both internally and those integrated with Internet based services. Our network engineers collaborate and are closely aligned with our Core Networking team, trading systems developers, enabling the technology team to deliver an optimal trading platform.
Preferred Qualifications:
The minimum base salary for this role is $120,000 if located in New York. This expectation is based on available information at the time of posting. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, which could constitute a significant portion of total compensation. This role may also be eligible for benefits, such as health, dental, and other wellness plans, as well as 401(k) contributions. Successful candidates’ compensation and benefits will be determined in consideration of various factors.
