Flooring Site Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Flooring Site Supervisor to join our Edmonton field team on a full-time, permanent basis. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with a range of flooring materials, including hardwood, vinyl, tile, and carpet, along with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

This role requires a current valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract. A company vehicle is provided.

Primary Purpose:

The Flooring Site Supervisor ensures that all projects meet or exceed Divine's quality standards. This role involves conducting site inspections, resolving issues, coordinating repairs, and training staff and subcontractors. Additionally, the Site Supervisor provides exceptional customer service and technical support while maintaining materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance & Site Management:

• Conduct pre- and post-installation site inspections.
• Address and resolve on-site issues with Site Supervisors.
• Perform quality control checks for Service Technicians and Installation Crews.
• Back-charge installers for substandard work.
• Coordinate workloads for installers as needed.
• Ensure all jobs are completed on schedule and meet quality standards.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair flooring products at job sites across the city.

Training & Support:

• Train new hires and provide ongoing training for existing staff and subcontractors on products, installations, and company policies/procedures.
• Provide technical support to Divine staff and assist with customer solutions.

Material Management:

• Deliver materials to job sites as necessary and ensure accurate documentation in the Company’s operating system.
• Report discrepancies in job files to the Estimating Team.
• Ensure all materials for Multi-family projects are delivered on time to keep projects on schedule.
• Keep service vehicles, tools, and equipment clean and in good working condition.

Safety & Documentation:

• Complete hazard assessments, vehicle inspections, and other required safety documentation per Company standards.
• Obtain customer signatures on completed work orders.
• Upload all paperwork (e.g., work orders, hazard assessments, photos) to the Company’s operating system.

Team Collaboration:

• Actively participate in service and site meetings.
• Communicate effectively with the office service team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Experience with flooring installations and/or repairs, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Basic hand tool experience.
• Proficiency with computers, including the ability to upload and manage digital documents.
• Ability to life up to 65lbs, when required.
