Compensation: $150 per week (room and board included)

About IMC: If you are looking for a unique blend of camp life, leadership, and music, you belong at IMC! Interprovincial Music Camp (IMC) provides campers with exceptional musical training and unforgettable camp experiences that last a lifetime. IMC is an overnight summer music camp that offers young musicians (ages 9 through 18) the unique opportunity to participate in orchestral, band, jazz, rock, musical theater, and songwriting programs. Staff are able to participate in camp life while enjoying the wonderful setting of Camp Manitou.

Job Description:Mentors play a vital role in making camp a fun, safe, and meaningful experience for every camper! Mentors live in cabins with campers, support daily routines, and help create a fun and inclusive camp environment. They act as positive role models and contribute to the overall success of camp programs and activities. Mentors are able to pursue networking opportunities among prominent members of the musician community. Our mentor team is composed of supportive young adults who are eager to participate in all that IMC has to offer!

Qualifications:

• Minimum age: 18 (required for CRC)
• Responsible, enthusiastic, and able to work effectively with kids
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Musical experience is an asset but not required
