Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Construction Inspector - Airport Project to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga. We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world. This position is for a replacment position.

Major Requirements:

  • Oversees construction activities to verify general compliance with Contract Documents and ensures the contractor takes appropriate measures to meet quality standards.
  • Prepares daily reports and regularly updates the Construction Manager on progress and issues..
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supporting the career development of project staff.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must possess, at a very minimum:

  • High School + 4 years of relevant experience in project or construction management or relevant profession.
  • Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Recognized qualification in project or construction management or relevant profession.
  • Typically has at least 7 years of professional experience as a construction inspector or in a similar role.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on large, complex projects, with at least 3 years of on-site involvement.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of reporting protocols and is experienced in preparing management-level reports.
  • Able to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including contractors and site personnel.



Additional Information

This position requires working on-site at client office, five days per week.
