That’s where you come in As our new HVAC Service Technician, you’ll be an essential part of delivering our exceptional range of products and services while securing future opportunities. Our service model is what distinguishes us from other companies. We go the extra mile (and about 10 more) for customers by operating within small service windows (2 hours), calling ahead of time to confirm, and literally rolling out the red carpet when we arrive to protect our customers’ floors. As our new service tech, it is essential that you follow the customer service practices that have become the hallmark of our success. Beyond respecting our customers’ time and property, that means only recommending items and services that clients really need. As our resident expert, you’ll work with clients to figure out what the best fix for their problems are, in both the long and short-term. If you’re hard working and great with people there’s no limit to the success you can have with us. Practically speaking, you will: * Travel locally for scheduled and emergency service calls * Closely follow our detailed customer service guidelines * Diagnose problems * Perform expert level repairs of various HVAC units * Build familiarity and trust with customers through solid service and advice * Keep accurate records of parts and labour * Draft invoices for customers * Inform customers on appropriate/helpful services and options Ultimately, we’re looking for more than just an experienced service tech: we want someone who’s going to take ownership of their role, and build up their own base of loyal clients with us. Working @ Carleton This will be a full-time, permanent position with hours from 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, plus occasional on call for our 24 hour service. You’ll make a great starting salary plus incentives, starting between $50,000 and $70,000 per year with opportunities to earn $100,000 +. Qualifications * G2 gas license * Residential air conditioning license 313A or D * ODP card * 3+ years of experience as a service technician in residential HVAC * Experience in customer service or a customer-facing role * Experience working on call * Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record * Clean Criminal Record How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
