The HMR Department Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Home Meal Replacement department, including food production, inventory control, labor scheduling, and compliance with standards. This role ensures consistent product quality, efficiency, and a positive customer experience.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily food production to meet sales forecasts and demand
  • Ensure recipes, portioning, presentation, and packaging meet company standards
  • Monitor product freshness, rotation, and shrink to minimize waste
  • Maintain proper equipment use, cleanliness, and functionality
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory levels for ingredients, supplies, and packaging
  • Create and manage employee schedules to align labor with production and sales needs
  • Ensure adequate staffing for production, peak hours, and special promotions
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health department standards, and company policies
  • Anticipate the needs of our customers and put them first in all that you do
  • Lead, coach and motivate colleagues to achieve success and foster colleague growth
  • Be committed to maintaining merchandising and operational standards
  • Be accountable for departmental sales results and financial objectives
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and leadership skills

What you'll need

  • Exceptional customer service skills with a talent for building customer loyalty
  • Preference will be given to candidates with prior department-specific experience
  • Create a positive workplace by developing relationships and engaging colleagues
  • Previous management experience in retail or food services
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and Holidays.
