Job description

We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in North York, On

Straight Day Shift (Monday - Friday) + paid out OT

The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee, plan, direct, and manage the maintenance department, including millwrights and equipment.

The role involves strengthening cooperation and development within the team and across departments to drive positive results. Keeping health & safety practices at the top of mind.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the maintenance of equipment and facility.

Implement cost control measures, safety procedures, and ensure high work quality.

Plan and oversee preventive maintenance, including coordinating and organizing maintenance schedules.

Schedule employee shifts within the Maintenance Department.

Develop and implement methods for tracking daily repairs, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Provide training as needed to ensure staff competence and development.

Oversee all operations of maintenance

Qualifications

3+ years of leadership experience in maintenance, along with technical experience in manufacturing.

Strong Communication Skills

Knowledge of mechanical equipment

Understanding and knowledge of GMP's

Experience with leading unionized staff in the upkeep of facility and production equipment.

Computer Proficiency : Competent in using computer systems and software for maintenance management and reporting.
