Hello! We are a family in North York, Ontario looking for a reliable and organized part-time household assistant for one consistent four-hour shift each weekend. The day and time can be discussed, although we prefer Saturday or Sunday during the daytime. This is a live-out, long-term position paying $20 per hour. This is a household-support position, and no childcare will be required. One parent will be home and responsible for our toddler throughout the shift. The position focuses on completing a weekly household reset. Responsibilities will include: • Washing, folding and putting away laundry • Changing bedding and towels • Preparing and portioning simple meals for our toddler • Tidying and organizing the home • Cleaning kitchen counters, sinks and the stovetop • Dusting and wiping household surfaces • Vacuuming and mopping selected areas • Light bathroom cleaning • Emptying garbage and diaper pails • Occasionally completing a small organizational or household project We also have a professional cleaner approximately once a month, so this role is intended to provide general upkeep between deeper cleanings. Priorities may vary slightly each week depending on what the household needs most. The ideal candidate is dependable, efficient, detail-oriented and proactive. Experience with household cleaning, laundry and food preparation is preferred. References are required.
