We are currently seeking a security guard with intermediate first aid for a permanent full time position working at Metro Vancouver Lake City (Burnaby) The shifts will be Monday to Wednesday 11pm till 7am Payrate $21.25 Some of your responsibilities include: Patrolling the site Offering first class customer service to clients Responding to first aid/medical emergency calls Monitoring of CCTV Access Control Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts Maintaining detailed and accurate daily logs and incident reports Effectively communicating problems or concerns to the Site Supervisor Your Must-Haves: BC Security License Intermediate First Aid/OFA 2 You have excellent problem solving skills You can work under pressure Physically able to stand and walk for long periods and work both indoors and outdoors in a range of weather conditions Your Nice-To-Haves: You have a valid Driver’s Licence with a clean driver’s abstract You have resided in Canada for the last five years What’s in it for you Opportunity for growth Work for a reputable and nationally known company A challenging yet rewarding work environment Flexibility of rotations and sites to suit your requirements Free uniforms Paid on-site training Gain valuable experience as a stepping stone into a law enforcement career You’re a good fit if… You hold a positive and can do attitude You are reliable and committed You can think on your feet and problem solve You can work alone or as part of a team Our Story Commissionaires BC is a Canadian, not-for-profit security/enforcement organization that has been in business since 1927.
