Job description

ICS have chosen D2R-Collect as their solution provider and Consultants and is looking for a sales representative to join our team in our Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada office. This person will actively seek out and engage prospective customers to sell our product and / or services. The ideal candidate is results-driven, hungry for customer acquisition, and passionate about contributing to top-line revenue growth.  The Sales Representative will play a key role in identifying and securing new clients for our debt collection services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships with businesses that require debt recovery solutions. This position offers a combination of base salary and commission, allowing the Sales Representative to earn based on their performance. Responsibilities : Lead Generation : Identify and target businesses and organizations that could benefit from debt collection services through cold calling, networking, and research. Client Acquisition : Present and sell debt collection services to prospective clients through meetings, calls, emails, and presentations. Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for continued business. Market Research : Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and market conditions to adapt sales strategies. Sales Process Management : Manage the sales pipeline, follow up with leads, and convert prospects into clients. CRM Maintenance : Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and client interactions in the company’s CRM system. Collaboration : Work closely with the operations and legal teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients and effective service delivery. Qualifications : Experience : Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in financial services, debt collection, or B2B sales. Preferably with some technology knowledge and sales capacity. Communication Skills : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently present solutions to prospective clients. Negotiation Skills : Ability to negotiate contracts and close sales effectively. Relationship Building : Proven ability to build long-term business relationships with clients. Self-Motivation : A self-starter who can work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve goals. Problem-Solving : Ability to understand the unique needs of each client and present customized debt recovery solutions. Technology Skills : Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., D2R-Collect, D2R-Legal, Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of Debt Collection Industry : Understanding of debt collection practices, processes, and relevant regulations (preferred but not mandatory).
