Job descriptionPromoting social inclusion and alleviating isolation and loneliness. Supporting informal language learning by practicing conversation in English. Practicing with language that is useful for daily activities. Promoting cross-cultural interactions by talking and learning about each other’s traditions and customs. Exchanging ideas, information, and resources. Promote community inclusion by offering social connection and the chance to practice conversational English. Women’s Conversation Circle – Fridays (3pm-5pm) Men’s Conversation Circle – Saturdays (10am-12pm)

Men’s and Women’s Conversation Circle Partner
Help create a more welcoming and inclusive city by volunteering as a Conversation Circle Partner and engage with newcomers to Canada.
Help newcomers adjust to life in Canada by practicing basic conversational English needed to participate in community life, and by socializing and sharing information about resources, community, and culture.
