Job description
We are looking for an ambitious and dynamic professional to join our client's team, a thriving FMCG leader operating out of a spectacular, modern office right in the heart of Montreal! Reporting to the Senior HRBP, this isn’t just a support role; it’s a launchpad where you will be the ultimate wingmate to junior and middle managers, driving the sales team’s success across recruitment, onboarding, talent development, and employee relations. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders to solve people-puzzles, align HR initiatives with company growth, and champion leadership excellence, all while owning our Internship program, reinventing onboarding, and facilitating impactful training initiatives.

Advantages
Compensation: Competitive salary with performance-based bonus incentives.

Flexible Friday scheduling, year-round.

Structured hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Health & Wellness: 100% employer-paid flexible medical/dental benefits, 24/7 virtual healthcare, and an on-site fitness and medical center.

Financial Security: DCPP Pension contribution and comprehensive life/disability insurance.

Work-Life Balance: Generous vacation package plus 13 statutory holidays; top-up to 100% salary for parental leave (up to 18 weeks).

Perks: Company-paid iPhone, on-site free parking, and an on-site daycare (CPE).

Development: Robust global training programs and clear paths for career acceleration.

Responsibilities
In this role, your daily focus will be to:

Build genuine connections with sales teams to provide seamless operational, talent, and employee relations support, expertly balancing human needs with business realities.

Own the end-to-end people processes within SuccessFactors—from recruitment and performance to internal mobility—ensuring our policies in rewards, learning, and talent development run flawlessly.

Act as the bridge to our Centres of Expertise in Talent, Rewards, and GBS, bringing world-class operational support and organizational strategies straight to the front lines.

Partner closely with business leaders to spark cultural evolution, boost team effectiveness, and cultivate a high-performance environment rooted in continuous improvement and recognition.

Serve as a trusted sounding board and coach for managers, guiding them through local and global policies, while navigating sensitive matters like grievances, investigations, and performance management with empathy and fairness.

Contribute your voice and ideas to our integrated HR agenda, helping us build a cohesive, commercially savvy team that genuinely impacts the business.

Qualifications
What we are looking for:
A degree in HR or a related field, with a CHRP designation considered a strong asset.

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP in a matrix environment, with a clear track record of connecting HR initiatives directly to big-picture strategy.

Strong business acumen, the ability to adapt quickly when things are not black and white, and a focus on delivering practical solutions that move the business forward.

Strong personal credibility and a demonstrated ability to build genuine trust with senior leaders to comfortably guide them on team strategy and talent metrics.

An energetic, self-motivated approach with the ability to prioritize and stay organized when things move fast.

Excellent communication skills and confidence presenting to any audience, including senior executives.

High proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, with knowledge of Power BI considered a great asset.

Full bilingualism in English and French, both written and spoken.
Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to regular communication with internal and external stakeholders across Canada and internationally.

Our Client operates across Canada, and globally. This company takes all reasonable means to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires this where it is necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to fulfil these job duties.

Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (oral and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to:
- collaborate and provide support to other colleagues and business functions located outside of Quebec who do not speak French
- attend essential training, meetings or conferences held outside Quebec, which are presented in English
participate in company-wide Canadian/Global town hall meetings and management information sessions, which are presented in English

Desirable qualifications:
Membership in a provincial HR association (CPHR, CRHA, etc.).

A strong handle on Canadian labor laws.

Hands-on experience using SuccessFactors and SAP.

Summary
If you are ready to accelerate your HR career in a fast-paced, vibrant FMCG environment, we want to hear from you. This is your chance to step into a high-visibility role, work alongside inspiring leaders, and enjoy incredible perks like flexible Fridays and a beautiful Montreal office. Take the next step in your professional journey and apply today to join a team that truly values your growth and impact!
