Elder Care Provider

We are looking for a warm, reliable and flexible person to provide ongoing support to two older adults living independently in their home in Burritts Rapids, Ontario. They are fairly independent overall, but would benefit from some regular help around the home and with day-to-day tasks. The role would be approximately **9–10 hours per week**, generally split into **three-hour shifts, three times per week**. We are flexible on the specific days and times for the right person. ### Typical responsibilities include: * Preparing simple meals and helping with meal planning * Light housekeeping and tidying * Laundry, dishes and other basic household tasks * Providing medication reminders * Driving and accompanying them to medical appointments * Helping with occasional errands or other practical needs * Being a dependable extra set of hands around the home This is primarily a **practical, task-focused support role**. No bathing, toileting, lifting, transfers or other personal-care duties are required. We are looking for someone who is: * Warm, caring and patient * Reliable and dependable * Flexible with scheduling * Comfortable working independently * Experienced supporting older adults * Comfortable driving seniors to appointments * Looking for an ongoing relationship rather than a short-term position Formal PSW or healthcare qualifications are **not required**. We are more interested in finding the right person with demonstrated experience helping and supporting older adults. We are hoping to find someone who can become a trusted, long-term part of their support system. Family is involved and available, but we're looking for someone who can take ownership of these regular day-to-day tasks. **Pay:** Approximately $25–$28/hour depending on experience. **Location:** Burritts Rapids, Ontario **Start:** Ideally within the next few weeks.
