Mandatory (minimum) Qualifications Required for Instructors:

  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Have held an Intermediate or higher-level First Aid or equivalent certificate for 2 or more yearsExample of higher-level first aid certificate: Advanced First AidExample of equivalent first aid certificate: Intermediate First Aid (Standard)
  • Have experience as a first aid attendant (work or volunteer) for a minimum of 1 year
