Qualified Special Education Assistants (SEAs) build strong connections with students to enhance their academic and social / emotional growth and independence. SEAs work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals and para-professionals assisting with implementation of individual education programs, learning and behavioural support, personal care and a variety of other duties. We operate on the unceded traditional territories of the Dzawada’enuxw First Nations. Serving the community of Gwayi’ village. You will be responsible for assisting with six to eight children. We hire Special Education Assistants who have completed certificate programs; we will consider applications from individuals who have completed Special Education Assistant programs and have school-based experience.
