What's in it for you?

• $18.62 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay
• Paid weekly, every Friday
• 40 hours weekly
• Contract to permanent
• 12 hours rotate shift

What's the job

• Perform process related procedures by following established Batch Records and Standard Operating Procedures under GxP
• Accurately, safely and efficiently carry out all directions/instructions given by the Shift supervisor area in the Processing area and ensure equipment is operated safely
• Generate or revise documents including: SOP's, Change Control forms and various reports as directed
• General use of Fermentation's computer applications for data and word processing
• Ensure work place and equipment is cleaned and maintained and in good order as per GxP requirements
• Know and apply consistently the Fermentation safety policies and relevant occupational health and safety legislation, comply with and enforce safety standards, and correct unsafe practices, procedures and conditions. Promote safety awareness
• Trained operators assist in training of other production operators
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Environment:

• Plant environment, with walking and climbing multiple flights of stairs
• Heavy lifting and pushing/pulling of heavy loads as needed
• Use of forklifts and material handling devices

You'll need to have:

• Minimum High School diploma
• A college or university program certificate, or be working towards a certificate in a related field is an asset
• Related experience in a GxP environment as asset
• Excellent written and verbal communication and collaborative skills
• Focused attention to detail and follow written and verbal instructions
• Takes initiative
