Job description

Indigenous Education Support Quesnel School District The Quesnel School District is currently seeking applications for casual Indigenous Education Support Staff. Successful applicants would become members of CUPE Local 4990. Indigenous Education Support Requirements: Grade 12 graduation; Indigenous education, one year of post-secondary training in special education, or related experience would be an asset; demonstrated knowledge of and experience in working with youth of Indigenous ancestry and the Indigenous community. Applicants must have documentation of Indigenous ancestry. The current wage rate is $30.34/hour. All applications are to include a covering letter, resume, names of at least 3 supervisory/professional references, supporting documents (e.g. confirmation of Grade 12 completion, relevant post-secondary certificates, diplomas and transcripts, certifications). The starting hourly rate of pay for this Indigenous Education position is $30.34 per hour. All continuing positions receive a competitive benefits package and pension.
