Description :

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Carpenter to join our ATCO Facilities Solutions team in Edmonton, Alberta , contingent on winning a proposed project. Opportunities may also be available in Calgary, Alberta. The Carpenter is responsible for constructing, repairing, restoring, and installing structural wood / steel work and related materials.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct structural inspections of the building envelope.
• Install locks, doorknobs, and other hardware, including rekeying.
• Perform general repair work including maintaining doors, floors, windows, partitions, ceilings, and exteriors; build and install door and window framing.
• Engage in construction and renovation work, roofing, and crawl spaces.
• Build wooden / steel structures such as partitions, building additions, and perform sheeting and rough carpentry, including final finishes.
• Operate woodworking machinery like planers, joiners, drill presses, power saws, and sanders.
• Maintain and repair carpentry tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
