Position Summary

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Service Delivery the incumbent will be responsible for a wide range of financial functions by providing the following key activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure invoices are reviewed assessed and paid in a timely manner and are documented for proper tracking and ensure elimination of duplicate payment.
• Process cheques and travel requisitions.
• Coding and entering financial information into Excel spreadsheets.
• Ensure all invoices are reconciled with purchase orders.
• Ensure cheques receive proper signing authority and are distributed in a timely manner.
• Respond to internal and external inquires in a pleasant and professional manner.
• Setting up accounts with various vendors.
• Maintain Petty Cash by reconciling receipts to expenses and replenishment
• Develop and maintain easy access filing system related to accounts payable supplier agreements and / or contracts.
• Knowledgeable of financial terms general ledgers cost-share department codes etc.
• Develop excellent working relationships with suppliers.
• Assist in the development of budgets and calculating salaries and MERCs formula.
• Dependable punctual and reliable with professional ethics.
• Other duties as assigned.
