You can see what tasks need to be done before given direction, and take action to ensure projects are running efficiently. You have a great understanding of residential construction practices and quality standards, Microsoft Office suite of products and can manage multiple tasks seamlessly. You are an articulate communicator in both your written and verbal correspondence, equally professional and detailed.
What You Will Do :
- Ensure assigned multifamily projects are completed on time, within budget, and to design
- Ensure the quality standard of Alberta New Home Warranty
- Producing accurate quantity take offs
- Create, manage and maintain project cost budgets
- Keeping projects on schedule while flagging and communicating potential issues with upper management
- Value engineering during the design stages
- Monitor construction progress
- Review and approve of construction progress draws and sub-trade invoices
- Review and scrutiny of the project design change directive and change orders
- Handling statutory lien holdbacks and deficiency holdbacks
- Budget monitoring and status reporting
- Quality assurance
- Property administration
