Position Details

Spring Night School Teacher

Location : Virtual

Salary Range : $64.22 / hour

Effective Date & Hours : March 24, 2026 – May 28, 2026. Tuesday and Thursday nights 6 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM plus 3 hours of asynchronous work (9 hours / week)

Federation Affiliation : While performing this position, you are a member of the Ontario Secondary School teachers' Federation representing the District 18 Teachers' Bargaining Unit. Union dues will apply.

Job Summary

Our Night School classes will be offered through a synchronous online model, in which students will engage in direct instruction for 6 hours per week and complete an additional 3 hours of work asynchronously. Students will be expected to be online from 6 : 00 PM - 9 : 00 PM, on Tuesday and Thursday nights starting on March 24th and running for 10 weeks until May 28th. During this time students will be expected to engage in a mixture of full class, small group and individual work as the teacher assigns.
