Fielding customer inquiries, selecting appropriate equipment and generating proposals.
Managing orders from entry to shipping.
Following up on outstanding quotations.
Assessing equipment in for repair and generating repair quotations.
Checking status of orders and reporting to customers accordingly.
Manage the equipment selection / quotation / order process, product inspection, testing and warranty claims.
Supporting the needs of outside technical salespeople.
Generate and place purchase orders with vendors for parts and equipment.
Working closely with other employees engaged in equipment service and / or customer service roles within the company.
Qualifications
5 – 7 years experience in outside or inside sales.
We're seeking an individual to fill a multi-function role in our Mississauga facility.
Proficient with office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
An engineering diploma or degree (mechanical, industrial, or chemical).
Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with the application and / or sales of industrial or municipal pumping equipment (centrifugal, vertical turbine, PD, diaphragm, metering, etc.) is required.
Experience with and knowledge of instrumentation and distributed control systems would be a valued asset.
Strong written and oral communication skills (English) and be able to communicate well with customers and vendors,

Compensation
60k –90 Base Salary (based on experience – negotiable)
