Operations Director

Overview : We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Hydro Vac Operations Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of our daily operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and excellence in service delivery. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for operational excellence in the hydro vac industry.

Responsibilities :

• Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize hydro vac operations, including fleet management, resource allocation, and service expansion.
• Operational Oversight : Direct and supervise all aspects of daily hydro vac operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and equipment maintenance, to ensure efficient and safe execution of projects.
• Safety and Compliance : Uphold the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance in all operations. Implement and enforce safety protocols, training programs, and compliance procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a safe work environment.
• Team Leadership : Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of hydro vac operators, technicians, and support staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.
• Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery, addressing client concerns or issues promptly, and identifying opportunities for business growth and expansion.
• Financial Management : Manage budgetary planning, cost control, and financial performance of hydro vac operations. Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize resource utilization, and ensure profitability while maintaining service quality.
• Quality Assurance : Implement quality control measures and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate the quality of hydro vac services. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Technology and Innovation : Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in hydro vac operations. Identify opportunities to leverage technology and innovation to enhance efficiency, productivity, and service delivery.
