Position : Business Development Branch Leader - Mechanical ProductsLocation : Saint-LaurentSalary : $130K+ package ($85K base salary plus unlimited bonus)Perks : Car allowance, gas card, cell phone, laptop, full benefits from day 1, RRSP, profit sharingAbout the Role : We are looking for a driven Business Development Branch Leader to lead and manage their Saint-Laurent branch, specializing in mechanical and industrial products. In this role, you'll manage both sales and operations, ensuring strong market growth while maintaining efficient branch operations. The ideal candidate is as comfortable engaging with clients and closing deals as they are overseeing daily operational tasks. Key Responsibilities : - Split your focus evenly between driving sales and managing branch operations- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and reach branch performance targets- Build relationships with OEM, manufacturing, and industrial clients, focusing on new business development and account management- Manage day-to-day branch operations, including assets, inventory, and receivables- Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and operations staff, ensuring their productivity and engagement- Work closely with suppliers to enhance product offerings and maintain favorable pricing strategies- Maintain and improve branch efficiency by overseeing operational activities like warehousing, shipping, and equipment management- Meet and exceed performance metrics in both sales growth and operational excellenceQualifications : - At least 5 years of sales experience in mechanical or industrial products, with a proven ability to drive new business and manage existing client relationships- At least 2 years of operations management experience, with direct responsibility for overseeing daily operational functions such as inventory, supply chain, or logistics- Hands-on experience working with mechanical products (bearings, power transmission, hydraulics, conveyor systems)- Strong leadership abilities, with experience coaching sales and operations teams to success- Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication skills- Experience managing branch financials, including profit and loss, pricing strategies, and budget management - Education within a related field is considered an important asset- Proficient in MS Office and inventory management systemsPlease send your resume in Word format to Jill Kalakay at [email protected] A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
