Fleming is located in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes Region in Central Ontario... a beautiful place to live and work, surrounded by natural beauty and a mere 90 minutes north-east of Toronto. The College¿s 6,800 full-time and 10,000 part-time students, including hundreds of international students from countries around the world, attend at campus locations in Peterborough, Lindsay, Haliburton and Cobourg. Fleming offers more than 100 full-time programs in Environmental and Natural Resource Sciences, Fine Arts, General Arts and Science, Technology, Skilled Trades, Community Development, Health, Business, and Justice as well as other Continuing Education courses.

What This Position is About :
The incumbent is involved in all aspects of the budget cycle (development, analysis, monitoring and reporting) for preliminary budget development, quarterly review and semiannual update. The incumbent is also the primary point of contact for Schools and affiliated organizations purchasing, academic fees, capital and inventory provides oversight and guidance to program purchasing and day to day monitoring of the application of policies and procedures to ensure college-wide processes and timelines are being followed.
The incumbent also supports financial decision making by the Schools Academic Leaders by providing complex financial analysis and modelling related to curriculum delivery and redesign, operating and capital budgets, including Continuing Education and Contract Training and affiliated organizations.
The incumbent proactively monitors financial data and enrolment reports, providing updates and recommendation to Schools Academic Leaders.
The incumbent interacts with all Schools program departments and many services college wide as the primary point of contact in all financial processes for Schools and affiliated organizations including accounting payroll processes, visa reporting, financial and operational analysis.
The position is also responsible for supporting the Spa and Clinic at Fleming College operations including purchasing and inventory control.
Work Schedules :
This position has been designated as hybrid / partially remote and is expected on-site 50% of the time.
Temporary Term starting as soon as possible to September 2026.

What We Are Looking For :
Completion of a three year diploma / degree in Business Administration, Business & Commerce, or similar business related, with a specialization in finance and / or accounting.
