Our client, a non-profit organization in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a contract role. The successful candidate will manage accounts payable, reconciliations, and support budgeting in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable (match, batch, code, approvals)
- Record journal entries and reconcile accounts using QuickBooks
- Support payroll accounting (no processing)
- Assist with budget preparation and template maintenance
- Perform bank and account reconciliations
- Use Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) for analysis and reporting
- Handle ad hoc financial tasks as needed
