Job Description

Position : Front End Web Developer

Duration : 6 Months +

Rate : Open

Job Description for Front End Web Developer :

The person we're looking for will :

Develop websites ensuring strong optimization and functionality
Work on projects including web layout enhancements, desktop applications, website enhancements, web-based applications, and database-driven websites
Interact with servers using SSH
Work in a variety of development frameworks including : Wordpress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, CodeIgniter.

Skills we’d like to see :

Excellent understanding of major operating systems

Experience working in OS X

At least a 2 year degree / diploma in a computer-related field (computer science / programming)

Strong Knowledge of common programming languages including PHP and Python

Experience with Expression Engine / Wordpress / Drupal development and available add-ons and plug-ins

Excellent MySQL database knowledge

We should work together if you have :

A desire to stay updated on current and new technologies

Strong time management and organizational skills

The ability to work individually or in a team to meet tight deadlines

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail

A desire to be thorough and precise
