Schedule : 5 hours per day

Route # 251 5 hrs / day Hebbville sub-system

1st AM Run : Transporting students to Hebbville Elementary

Serving areas : Camperdown Rd, Sarty Rd & Camperdown School Rd

2nd AM Run : Transporting students to Park View Education Centre

Serving areas : Camperdown Rd, Lapland Rd, Sarty Rd & Mines Rd #2

1st PM Run : Transporting students from Hebbville Jr High

Serving areas : Century Dr, Highway 325 & William Wile Rd

2nd PM Run : Transporting students from PVEC

_serving areas : Maple St, Dufferin St, Century Dr, Hwy 3, Hirtle Rd, Hwy 331 & Newell Rd

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license (class 2B Bus driver’s license with air brake endorsement).
• Completion of South Shore Regional School Board bus driver training course or equivalent.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other transportation staff.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Effective interpersonal skills.

Operates assigned vehicle safely and in compliance with relevant regulations and policies, for example :

The South Shore Regional Centre for Education requires all newly hired employees to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record / Vulnerable Sector Check and a Nova Scotia Child Abuse Register Check. We will accept checks completed within the last 3 months.

Regional Office based positions require travel and candidates may be required to provide a valid driver's license. Some school based positions also require travel and candidates may be required to provide a valid driver's license.
