Job Title : Senior Accountant
Mining Sector, Downtown Toronto (close to Union Station)
We're seeking a Senior Accountant to join our clients team and play a pivotal role in supporting the financial operations of multiple mining companies. This role involves managing corporate accounting, financial reporting, and analysis, providing valuable insights to influence strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounting & Reporting : Prepare and analyze month-end reports, identify trends, and provide insights to guide management.
- Financial Statements & Compliance : Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in line with IFRS standards and regulatory requirements.
- MD&A and Quarter-End Support : Assist with quarterly and annual filings, including MD&A drafts and preparation of working papers for audits.
- Process Improvement : Contribute to initiatives that streamline and enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
