Job descriptionWork collaboratively as part of multi-disciplinary design teams located in offices across North America Provide mentorship to junior technical personnel. Develop conceptual, preliminary and detailed designs, drawings and specifications. Write technical reports and analysis to support design submissions. Maintain a reference set of standards and in-house best practices. Current registration with PEO as a P.Eng. 6+ Years of Experience in building HVAC, Plumbing & Drainage, Utilities systems, as well as fire protection system design. Knowledge of AutoCAD & Revit is an asset. Experience in consulting engineering in the industrial industry is an asset. Good knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and design criteria. Proficiency in a variety of standard engineering methods and techniques. Flexibility to travel to client site is required. Knowledge of mechanical equipment. Be a team player with excellent communication skills. Ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong technical skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Mechanical Field Engineer - Niagara, ON
Join our innovative team as a Mechanical Engineer, where you'll work in dynamic projects in engineering, ensuring success from concept to completion.
Responsibilities and Duties :
- Daily on-site presence at client’s construction site.
- Utilities and mechanical installation and design reviews
- Review Client Specifications
- Coordination with contractors and other on-site stakeholders
- Review shop drawings for compliance & participate in development of engineering standards.
- Maintain detailed understanding of local codes and standards applicable to industry and projects
- Visit and survey project sites for project related activities.
- Provide construction supervision, conduct document and field reviews
- Support positive client and other disciplines consultant interactions
- Manage deliverables and project execution.
