As aRegistered Assessment Psychologiston our team you will report to the Chief Clinical Officer and work as part of an interdisciplinary team. You will provide psychological assessments (cognitive adaptive and psycho-educational) to children up to the age of 15.

Heres what youll need to be successful:

• Fully registered withtheCollege of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia
• Minimum of (1) years of recent related experience working with parents and children impacted by a mental health and or developmental disorder.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada
• Specific knowledge of and experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder the Autism Diagnostic Observational Scale and the Autism Diagnostic Interview is required
• Specific expertise and experience in psychological assessment with low mental ability or behaviour disordered populations is essential.
• Knowledge of developmental disorders
• Ability to plan and organize workload and establish priorities.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment decision-making and problem solving.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of community dynamics agencies and resources.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Ability to deal effectively with wide range of community and facility contacts.
• Ability to respect clients rights values and preferences including multi-cultural issues.
• Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with specific training in Psychological assessment.
