Our Calgary office is seeking a Material Testing Technician , the successful candidate will work in collaboration with the Materials Team, and will have the opportunity to work on various exciting projects alongside senior engineers / technicians in the field.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Field testing of civil construction materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt
• Learn about construction equipment, sequencing, and drawings
• Compaction testing of soils, aggregates and asphalt
• Concrete testing; casting cylinders and performing slump and air measurements
• Asphalt testing; Marshall analysis, pavement coring, and onsite sampling
• Preparing daily test summary report
• Technicians will be provided with a company truck
• Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules.
